What a whirlwind the past couple of weeks have been!
With both the Business Excellence Forum and our Global Conference taking place in our own backyard, to say we’ve been busy here at ActionCOACH Florida would be an understatement!
The Business Excellence Forum exceeded our expectations on every level. Attendees definitely brought their A-game and were there to learn, share and take action in their businesses. Les Brown is a motivational powerhouse and his thoughts on self worth and determination really highlighted key points that business owners need to be connected to in order to be successful.
Brad Sugars kicked off the second day of the BEF with ‘to-the-point’ strategies for growing your business. He also shared some amazing insights about social media being the next generation of customer databases. Think about it…it’s a genius point…not only can you directly interact with your customers, but your customers can chat amongst themselves…amazing concept.
We’ve asked some of the BEF attendees to share their thoughts about the weekend…
“My biggest aha moment was from Brad Sugars on using Facebook as lead generation sources. I can use them to create communities, independent of direct sales activities, become the thought leader on the page and then develop leads through my interactions with the tribe I develop on that platform. Really looking forward to putting this into action!”
Lisa Sparks, Regional Development Director for Constant Contact
“My biggest learning and at the same time the validation of what we have been doing right in our business is the importance of storytelling – it is the emotional connections that make our tours so successful and also gives us the great reputation we have with our clients.”
Uwe G. Doeringer, Owner Dragonfly Expeditions, Inc.
“One of the most important things that finally clicked for me is that “You get compensated according to the work you do.” This sounds obvious but it has a much deeper meaning. It means that if you are spending your time doing the menial tasks then even if you are the CEO you will only be able to pay yourself what it would cost to have someone else do it. This is why it is so important to focus on the high profit high importance work. So make not only ToDo Lists but more importantly make To Don’t Do Lists.
